In the fall of 2023, extensive renovation work began at the Hotel Sonnschein, along with a complete redesign of the aging wellness area. Around 850,000€ were invested in drywall alone, which included the construction of drywall partitions, fire protection shafts, Glasroc® X structures in the wellness area, and elaborate stucco work. A design highlight is the curved ceiling in the newly redesigned wellness area, with particularly eye-catching intricate stucco profiles and indirect lighting. A total of approximately 18,000 square meters of gypsum boards were installed on around 21,000 meters of profiles during the renovation.
