Key Challenges
-
Time was of the essence; the client had a tight timescale in which to complete the works due to the grand opening of this 5-star hotel.
-
Challenges of working in tight spaces especially corridors, however, therefore GRG is a good solution as most of the work is done in our workshop and installation time on site can be reduced.
-
Technical challenges were the use of correct materials in the right locations (to ensure that the solutions were sympathetic to the building’s heritage).
Key Achievements
-
Very few companies have the ability to carry out heritage and modern work on such a large scale, therefore, we were perfectly placed to carry out this work. It involved tight communication between us and our client the dry-liner to ensure the work was completed on time. It also need to be of the highest quality for a 5 star hotel which we were able to achieve.
-
A quote from an industry expert about the project “The final installation is of the highest quality.”
-
Around 50% of the decorative features had to be replaced, but the replacements, together with a myriad of handcrafted alterations on site, integrate seamlessly into what is a truly spectacular final result.
