Biography: Twenty years ago, Ronny Schoeffaerts’ boyhood dream came true when he started his own business. Ronny grew up in an underprivileged family and started a butchery apprenticeship at the age of 14. Four years later, while on national service in the army, he started to working as a plasterer and finisher to top up his income. “Even back then I’d always want to do everything as perfectly as possible, and I’ve always remained a plasterer at heart.” After 13 years of salaried employment, he started working as a self-employed plasterer at the start of the new millennium. He quickly branched out into plasterboard work, painting and the like, using good local craftsmen.
