Project description

The construction of this block of 32 luxury homes in Vitoria, Álava, incorporates Isover & Placo® solutions both outside and inside, reaching an A energy rating. Façade made with Placotherm® Integra façade system with Glasroc® X reduces energy losses of the building and ensures great thermal and acoustical conditioning, with extraordinary resistance to external impacts. The interior spaces were made wiith Placo® PPF, Placo® PPM, Placo® PPH, respectively improving resistance to fire, humidity and noise, as well as with Megaplac® in those spaces that required greater heights. They all had Isover mineral wool as insulation to guarantee better thermal and acoustic comfort.

• This luxury building needed to preserve a high-level comfort for their residents, while all the rooms maintain an excellent finish.

• The façade required an extra resistant wall which preserve not only the heat in the building, but also a correct impact resistance.

High performance interior & Exterior systems combination
• To reduce the carbon footprint of the building and offer extraordinary spaces, it was necessary to combine interior and exterior solutions with the highest performance; not only that they comply with building regulations, but exceed them.
Complete systems Placo® & Isover, the key to success
• Complete systems with Placo® plasterboards and Isover mineral wool are used both in interior and exterior partitions. These systems allow the building to accomplish better and more benefits, including thermal and acoustic insulation, robustness, aesthetic and high-level finishes.
• By using complete Isover and Placo systems, the timing of the project could be met with great agility, since all the supply for them was from Saint-Gobain.
