The project “”Creative Innovation and Technology Center,”” known as “”El Bloque,”” is a seven-story architectural building fully dedicated to technological development, with specialized areas for workshops and technological innovation. The center’s objective is to promote technological advancement through modern and functional facilities.
The project began in June 2023, establishing itself as a reference space for innovation.
We had the opportunity to participate in this project both in interior and exterior works, using Saint-Gobain solutions, such as Plaka.
We implemented Ceiling Tiles, Aquaroc® Pro, and other materials that represent the latest technology.

Key Challenges

Oneof the key aspects was achieving a perfect balance between natural and artificial lighting, which gives the building a modern and welcoming atmosphere, without neglecting the importance of controlled acoustics, fully suitable for the different work and collaboration spaces the center offers.
Saint Gobain products are the most suitable for creating an ideal interior environment, tailored to the climate characteristics and the needs of each space.

Key Achievements

In this project, we participated by providing finishing services using lightweight construction systems. Our main task was the installation of walls and interior ceilings (suspended ceilings) in various areas, such as coworking spaces, meeting rooms, bathrooms, auditoriums, facades, and more.
Each of these areas was covered with high-quality materials from Saint Gobain, allowing us to ensure modern, durable, and functional finishes.
The materials used not only improved the aesthetics of the spaces but also provided important properties such as acoustic insulation and resistance.

Sustainability in the project

The Block is distinguished by being the first building in Latin America to have walls made of photovoltaic cells, allowing for 40% electrical independence. This innovative approach to renewable energy not only promotes sustainability, but also sets a standard in the integration of clean technologies in urban infrastructure.
In addition to its commitment to green energy, it stands out for its water recycling systems, thus contributing to the conservation of this vital resource and the promotion of eco-friendly practices in the urban environment.
