Project description

The construction of the Museum of Polish History in Warsaw began in 2016, and its new headquarters was opened in September 2023 at the Warsaw Citadel.
The museum covers an area of over 44 000 m². The building has 4 above-ground floors and 2 underground levels. It includes educational rooms, an auditorium, a cinema-theater hall, a library, dining facilities, and a viewing terrace. The façade of the building reflects various periods of Polish history, emphasizing its symbolic significance. The museum aims to be a place of education, culture, and discussion about Polish history. The design of the museum was created by the architectural WXCA.
