Project description

Sai Teerth Devotional Theme Park, India’s first of its kind, is expanding to accommodate the growing visitors. The park’s auditorium extension demanded a lightweight, high-performance alternative. The architect, inspired by the Glasroc® X launch event in December 2023, proposed it to the end client. This pilot project showcases a shift towards light & sustainable construction methods, gaining acceptance among architects, contractors, and end-users alike.

Location :
- The project involved expanding an advanced 5D screen theatre at a devotional theme park.
- The worksite was elevated 22 meters above ground level and surrounded by heavy foot traffic of over a thousand visitors daily.
- Restrictions on using boom or scissor lifts due to limited access and ongoing park operations.
Timelines :
- The client faced a tight deadline to complete the project before the monsoon season.
- The project was critical for the client’s revenue model, as the 5D screen needed to be operational at the earliest.

Key Achievements

Use of a new solution : Requirement was of a light weight solution as alternate to conventional block construction at height of 22m.
Time savings :
- Because of it’s light weight, system took less time to install and it was easier for installer too.
- Less resources required in over-all construction which helped complete the project within timelines.
End client was happy and satisfied with the use of an innovative solution for the project.
